Herd Immunity, Majority of Residents Want to be Vaccinated

Secretary General of the Ministry of Health Oscar Primadi said the claim was proven by the finding that 80.8% of Indonesians were willing to vaccinate against Covid-19.
This finding is the result of a recent survey conducted by the Ministry of Health with the University of Maryland with a Facebook partnership conducted on January 10-March 31, 2021. "We are very pleased to see a positive report from the Covid-19 Symptom Survey," he said in a release. The public's doubts about getting the vaccine have decreased from 28.6% to 19.2% during the period January-March 2021. This survey found a number related to reasons for doubting being vaccinated in Indonesia, such as adults who are indeed hesitant about the vaccination program. Generally, 49.2% were concerned about side effects and 34.9% wanted to wait and see the situation first as the main reason for doubting. Findings in March showed 86% of Indonesians surveyed reported always or mostly wearing a mask when in public. The highest use of masks was in the province of Bali as much as 92% and the lowest in Aceh at around 72%
