Banks Expect OJK to Continue Stimulus Policy

Bankers hope that the Financial Services Authority (OJK) will continue its stimulus policy to support the national banking industry.
This hope was conveyed by bankers in line with the challenges ahead which are still unpredictable and the Covid-19 pandemic which is also not over. Chairman of the Association of State-Owned Banks (Himbara) Sunarso appreciated the support of the OJK which has issued various policies to assist the banking industry in dealing with the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic since last year. "Although the stimulus has been given, in fact the challenges ahead are estimated to be still not completed. In the future, the challenges are still not over, we can't completely overcome the difficulties, we still need further policies that require collaboration from all stakeholders to get out of trouble immediately," said Sunarso in a virtual Halal Bihalal event in the Financial Services Sector, according to Sunarso, who also attended the event. served as President Director of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BRI), with the support of various stakeholders and regulators, the impact on banking will also be felt on the national economy.
