Chairman of the Eka Tjipta Foundation (ETF) Hong Tjhin said his party is trying to preserve the life philosophy of Sinar Mas founder, Eka Tjipta Widjaja.

“The Foundation strives to preserve Eka Tjipta Widjaja's philosophy of life, namely integrity, positive attitude, commitment, continuous improvement, innovation and loyalty. Education is the foundation,” he added. The Eka Tjipta Foundation, continued Hong Tjhin, has translated this philosophy into a program that takes place with the support of Sinar Mas' business pillar, which is reaching out to the community. To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of Eka Tjipta Widjaja, the ETF itself strives to keep the values ​​and initiatives inherited from the founders resonating within Sinar Mas until the community feels the benefits. Even if it is effective, it can be replicated by other parties. “We believe that education has an important role in building self-reliance and community welfare. Moreover, Indonesia is aiming for the Golden Indonesia moment in 2045, based on superior and competent community resources (HR). It is in line with Pak Eka's philosophy," said Hong Tjhin about the life values ​​of the founder of Sinar Mas, who died in 2019. To note, ETF is a non-profit organization that was initiated by the Widjaja family in 2006.
