Food SOE Holding Triggers Ecosystem Transformation

SOE Minister Erick Thohir hopes that the Food SOE Holding formed through PP No. 118 of 2021 which has been approved by President Joko Widodo can create a transformation of the national food ecosystem.

The food sector is the main focus and the existence of a Food SOE Holding is expected to create a transformation of the food ecosystem. President Joko Widodo approved the establishment of a Food SOE Holding. This is marked by the signing of Government Regulation (PP) Number 118 of 2021 concerning Additional State Equity Participation in PT Rajawali Nusantara Indonesia (RNI Persero). "From the many transformations that we have carried out, the food sector is the main focus for the end of 2021 and 2022 and we hope that the Food SOE Holding can make maximum use of the territory of Indonesia as an agrarian country, by focusing on a market-oriented food supply chain system," said Erick.
