As in Inaran, Pegat Bukur, and Bena Baru villages which were handed over with the Berau Regency Government, the aid was also distributed in three other affected villages, namely Tumbit Melayu, Tumbit Dayak, and Long Lanuk. This is a synergy between the government and companies to help ease the burden on residents affected by floods. Berau Regent Sri Juniarsih, who also went directly to see the condition of the residents affected by the flood, said that his party was grateful for the synergy between PT Berau Coal and the local government in helping flood-affected victims. Community Development Manager of PT Berau Coal Hikmawaty explained that this assistance was solely to reduce the burden on the community. In addition to these villages is the area surrounding the mine of PT Berau Coal. "So we go directly to provide assistance to the community," said Hikmawaty.
