B20 Meeting Became a Leap to Get Out of Crisis
The Presidency Forum B20 Indonesia Summit 2022 is expected to be a jumping-off point for Indonesia to get out of the economic crisis. The reason is, this forum will bring together business leaders of multinational companies, organizations and the business community from all G20 member countries who will provide formulations and input on economic recovery during the pandemic.
This was stated by the General Chair of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Arsjad Rasjid who is also in charge of the B20 Presidency, in Jakarta. According to him, the 2022 Indonesia B20 Forum takes the theme of Innovative Progress, Inclusiveness and Collaborative Growth in line with the G20. The goal is to lead to a stronger and more sustainable recovery stimulus for all countries, through a joint forum with the international business community that will recommend policy papers. “Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry hopes that this forum will produce ideas that can be actualized into regulations and concrete investments. Of course, to achieve that, the business community or entrepreneurs need to work together with the public (government) in realizing large-scale investment projects to have a big positive impact on society and the country," concluded Arsjad. Marking the formal and public start of the B20 Indonesia Summit 2022, the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) as the organizer will hold a preliminary meeting or B20 Inception Meeting with all delegates of G20 members in Jakarta, 27-28 January 2022. This B20 preliminary meeting was carried out on support from PT Astra International Tbk, PT Bayan Resources Tbk, PT Indika Energy Tbk and Sinar Mas.
