Forest Fire Early Detection

The danger of forest and land fires (karhutla) in the country is still a threat and a problem that occurs almost every year.
The negative impacts are very complex, affecting the ecology and damaging the environment. Indonesia's relations with neighboring countries have also become sensitive due to transboundary haze pollution. So far, forest fires are often very difficult to detect and extinguish because they are constrained by geographical conditions and the vast forest terrain is difficult for humans to reach. When the forest burns, it is rare for anyone to know the point of the fire. Therefore, one of the effective ways to monitor forests and detect hotspots in their forests is through aerial monitoring using drones or also known as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV). Equipped with thermal cameras and intelligent sensors, drones can detect fires early so they can be extinguished easily and quickly.
