The Deputy Minister of BUMN Opens Up the Progress of the Dissolution of PLN Coal

The Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) has opened up about the progress of planning the dissolution of a subsidiary of PT PLN (Persero), namely PT PLN Batubara.

Currently, his party is improving the coal supply at PLN so that the coal crisis does not happen again. Deputy Minister of State-Owned Enterprises, Pahala Mansury said that, before going further about the plan to disband PT PLN Batubara, he said that currently his party was focusing on continuing to address the amount of coal supply owned by PLN. Currently, the amount of coal supply to the steam power plant (PLTU) owned by PLN has improved compared to the beginning of 2022, which is considered difficult to get a supply of coal. "If we look at the strategic PLTU, the amount of coal is below the sufficient level, it can be said that it is adequate and the number of PLTUs is increasing," said Pahala in Squawk Box, CNBC Indonesia, Monday (24/1/2022)
